One in all the most controversial events with console table games is the whole burning issue. Is it legal. It’s a bit of a grey area because as you buy the game you should take the right to make a backup. Or not? Games makers are promoting a constant fight against pirate copies that flood the black market at a division of the price and this is where the problem lies.
When I buy a music CD, I immediately rip it to MP3 and zap it unto my iPod. I require the CD, because it’s part of my collection and having the original CD is just therefore much more precious than a plain direct download. With Ps3 and different console games this is even more applicable. Having the original “box” has all the brochures, instructions and other cool stuff that avid gamers are after. Making a burn of the original Ps3 game is the good thing to do.
These games are incredibly fragile and having to buy the same game twice is just plain stupid. Small scratches and even just breaking your Ps3 game discs to too much sun can harm them beyond repair. This is why I am a hard core supporter of making backups of all my games and holding them good. Games have a funny way of going “walkie” and with all your friends and family borrowing games, before you know it half your collection is somewhere else.
So, how do you burn Ps3 games? There are a lot of ways around and many forum discussions go on and on about how to do it. The truth is that you do not have to break up your console table to make or play backup games. Be careful. Breaking open your console will automatically make your warranty void and in the procedure you may even break your console table.
How do you burn Ps3 games well? There are a lot of software products reading. Some free, some paid. The free ones are normally 3 or 4 different software products that you have to use at unique stages of the burn procedure and this can be a bit of a trouble. Most of the time something goes wrong somewhere in the procedure and you finish wasting a lot of time ripping massive files to your hard drive.
Paid software makes the procedure much easier and because the software program is quite cheap, it’s well a valued investment. I’ve tested most of these packages and I simply found one that’s actually worth it. It’s the only package that is an all-in-one method about how to burn Ps3 games. Point and click with no guesswork and no having to hack through “unbreakable” burn protection.
Essentially, all you have to do is to strip the data off the disk, dump it on your computer’s hard drive and then use the software to burn it back unto an empty disc using your computer’s DVD drive. The trick is to strip the data and then to burn it back as a result that your Wii console will read the disk as an “original”.
You are able to apply the free software program, but from my knowledge it’s not worth the time and effort. I’ve put together a tutorial on my site to show you how to burn Ps3 games. Don’t break open your console table. Stay safe and remain legitimate and most of all enjoy your Ps3.
